This preference allows you to determine if the Hours Offered and Hours Worked fields should auto-fll with the default hours set in this preference for salary earning types.

  1. Select File > Preferences >  Payroll > Pay Periods
  2. Click the Database tab.
  3. Determine if you want to Default Hours for Salary Earnings.
  4. The defined default pay periods are listed, but can be changed. Click Restore Defaults to set back to the default value.
  • Daily - 8 Hours
  • Weekly - 40 Hours
  • Bi-Weekly - 80 Hours
  • Semi-Monthly - 86.67 Hours
  • Monthly - 173.33 Hours
  • Quarterly - 520 Hours
  • Annual - 2080 Hours
